If you are waiting to hear back from the Sheriff’s department on your NEW application, you may receive a letter from EDSO stating that you will need a new “Carry Concealed Handgun Firearm Training and Gun Safety Check Form.” Only approved instructors can provide you with this new form, and only approved instructors are able to complete your handgun inspection, range qualification and serial number(s) verification.
