CCW Laws for California
On September 26, 2018, Assembly Bill AB 2103 was passed into law amending CA Penal Code section 26165 relating to CCW class requirements. Per the new State law, A CCW applicant must pass a live-fire shooting exercise for EVERY weapon they are listing on their CCW license. The new requirements for range qualification will need to be completed for NEW and RENEW classes as well as when the applicant adds a gun to their existing license.
