Chief Instructor Rob Charny

Rob Charny licensed by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services and California Department of Consumer Affairs. He also holds many credentials with the National Rifle Association and is a California Department of Justice Handgun Safety Certified Instructor and a USCCA certified Instructor. He is a life member of the California State Sheriff's Association, Certified Glock Armorer and is a gunsmith working on many Law Enforcement and civilian firearms. He was appointed the very first CCW instructor for El Dorado County by Sheriff Don McDonald. Rob was tasked with developing the course curriculum and paved the way for citizens of El Dorado County to obtain a CCW license.
He has been an active shooter most of his life and has competed at the national level for both handgun and shotgun competitions.

Lead Instructor David Stryker
David is a California Department of Justice Firearms Instructor, NRA Instructor, USCCA Instructor, and NRA Range Safety Officer, with more than 15 years experience facilitating training over a broad range of topics.
A resident of El Dorado County for more than 15 years, David spent nearly 10 years working for Rob Charny in the firearm industry, and has more than 20 years experience in the firearm and sporting goods industries. Having begun shooting at a very young age, he has an extensive knowledge of firearms, shooting, hunting and general sporting goods. He continues to be an active shooter, hunter and off-road enthusiast.
